Who we are

A S I S HOLIDAY HOMES RENTAL L.L.C — a holiday home management company licensed by Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism (licence 1511756), based in Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

For the purposes of the UAE's Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), we are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect

Mostly what you type into our enquiry form, or send us directly:

We don't ask for, and don't want, your Emirates ID, passport, title deed or bank details through this website. If we need documents later, we'll ask for them properly and securely.

What we don't do

• No analytics. We don't measure you, and there is no analytics tool installed on this site at all.
• No tracking or advertising pixels. No Facebook pixel, no ad networks, no profiling.
• No buying or selling of data. Not now, not later.

Cookies — what we actually set

We used to say this site set no cookies. That isn't quite true, so here is the honest version. Two things can put a cookie or a small piece of stored data in your browser, and neither of them is for advertising or measurement:

• Cloudflare Turnstile — the "are you human?" check on our enquiry form. It's loaded from Cloudflare when you open the contact page, and it may store a short-lived token in your browser. When you submit, your IP address is sent to Cloudflare so it can score the request. It replaces the old reCAPTCHA-style checks and, unlike them, isn't used to build an advertising profile of you.
• Supabase authentication cookies — set only when one of our own team signs in to the private admin area on a separate address. They keep that session alive. They are never set by browsing the public site, and they hold no information about you.

Both are strictly necessary — the site can't check for bots or keep our team signed in without them. That's also why you won't see a cookie consent banner here: there's nothing optional to consent to.

Our fonts are bundled with the website itself, so no font service is called when you view a page. Our project photographs are served from our own storage on Supabase.

Why we're allowed to use it

Under the PDPL we rely on:

• Your consent — you chose to send us your details and asked us to reply. You can withdraw it at any time.
• Taking steps at your request before entering a contract — preparing your projection or listing review is exactly what you asked for.

Marketing — the short version

We will reply to your enquiry. We will not add you to a mailing list.

If we ever want to send you anything beyond a response to what you asked, we'll ask your permission first, separately and clearly. UAE rules on unsolicited marketing require that, and frankly so does common sense.

Who else sees it

As few people as possible. We use these companies to run the site, and each one only handles what it needs to:

• Vercel — hosts the website and serves the page you're reading. It processes the technical details of your request, including your IP address, in its server logs.
• Supabase — our database, where your enquiry is stored, and the sign-in system for our own admin area.
• Brevo — sends the acknowledgement email to you and the notification email to us. Your enquiry passes through it and your correspondence with us is kept there.
• Cloudflare — runs the Turnstile anti-bot check on the enquiry form, and receives your IP address to do it.
• Meta (WhatsApp) — only if you choose to continue the conversation on WhatsApp. That chat happens on their platform, under their terms, not ours.

That's the whole list. No agencies, no lead brokers, no partners. We do not sell or rent your details to anyone.

Your data may leave the UAE

The services above operate servers outside the UAE, so your enquiry may be transmitted and stored abroad. By sending us the form, you consent to that transfer. We only use providers with recognised security practices, and we keep the data we send them to the minimum needed to reach you.

How long we keep it

• If you don't become a client: up to 24 months from our last contact, then deleted. Owners often come back a year or two later, and it's easier for both of us if we remember the conversation.
• If you do become a client: for as long as we manage your property, and afterwards only as long as UAE tax, DET and company law require us to.
• If you ask us to delete it: we will, promptly — unless the law requires us to keep a specific record.
• The anti-spam record of your IP address: it only counts submissions within a ten-minute window, and it is never attached to your enquiry or used to identify you.

Keeping it safe

Your enquiry travels over an encrypted connection and is stored in an access-controlled database, along with the emails we exchange with you about it. It is reachable only through a password-protected admin area on a separate address, which is not linked from this site and is closed to public sign-ups. Each member of our team has their own account with only the permissions their job needs, and the database itself enforces those limits row by row rather than trusting the app to. In practice the list of people who can read your enquiry is very short.

Your rights

Under the PDPL you can ask us to:

• Show you what we hold about you
• Correct anything wrong
• Delete it
• Send it to you in a portable format
• Stop using it, or object to how we're using it
• Withdraw consent you previously gave

Email support@asisholidayhomes.com and we'll deal with it within 30 days. There's no charge, and you don't need a reason.

If you think we've handled your data badly and we haven't put it right, you can complain to the UAE Data Office.

Children

This site is for property owners. It isn't aimed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. If the change is significant and we hold your details, we'll tell you.
